Bermuda Commercial Bank provides Trust services and management through our wholly owned subsidiary BCB Trust Company Limited, which is licensed by the Bermuda Monetary Authority. Whether for a Personal Trust, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), or other trust structure BCB Trust Company takes a personal approach to manage the setup and management of the full trust process.
Personal Trust Services
We work closely with a family’s tax and legal advisors to ensure that all the estate planning, preservation of assets, and tax efficiency goals are achieved and continually monitored to ensure compliance with the ever changing tax and legal regimes of the particular jurisdictions involved.
Corporate Trusteeship
We can act as Trustee and Administrator for Unit Trust schemes, pension schemes and other such investment schemes.
Special Purpose Vehicles
These are a special type of trust, flexible in structure and are created by statute. They are unique in that they have no beneficiaries, and are suitable for charitable and other purposes.
Investment Holding Companies
Commonly used to segregate assets and businesses to provide protection of assets and intellectual property through an underlying company owned by a trust. We work closely with the family advisors and our corporate management arm, ICMOB, to manage the setup, incorporation and ongoing management of the company.
BCB Trust Company Limited also works closely with our Banking, Global Custody, and ICMOB companies to efficiently deliver a comprehensive and seamless service to its trust clients.
